I think I would agree...she isn't mean to you because you are "hers" and she is protecting you, that is how I would look at. Maybe she doesn't see your bf as a threat, as to why she only goes after your parents. I don't have any ideas to help you tho, sorry, but I would check out Ceasar's site and see what he says. Hopefully it will not be a hard behavior to correct. good luck!
