She's peeing okay. No, she's not drinking nor does she have diarrhea. I have never taken a dog's temp but assume it's done rectally, lol. What is a normal temp for a puppy?
Other than vomiting (gross!) she seems almost normal. She was barking out the window at the kids outside for about 10 mins., came downstairs and vomited again!!!
We took her to my mother-in-law's last night. I'm wondering if she picked up something up from the floor...my second thought is that maybe she ate something in the back yard. The neighborhood cats are always killing birds in our backyard.
I'm just going to keep an eye on her gums to ensure that they stay pink (which they are right now).
I was hoping that someone had another home remedy to settle her stomach. What about babyfood chicken? Or pumpkin? I would like to give her pepto but wonder how much? Anyone???
P.S. She's 8 months old, approx. 14" long and weighs 5 lbs. (may be alittle more because she had some pasta last night - not her first time, but then again maybe a little less due to the vomiting).
