If it's really morning sickness then you are definitely far enough along to take a pregnancy test! I've heard the dollar store ones are just as good as the $14 ones at the drugstore (although I don't have any personal experience on that one!) but heck, it's worth $1 to find out, right??

P.S. It can totally be hormones. I had "morning sickness" 2 weeks a month for 6 months and it was totally hormones. I finally found a doctor who believed me and fixed me up. I would end up in the ER for nausea, dehydration and abdominal pain and they would throw me in the CT scan to verify it wasn't kidneys, gall bladder, appendix, etc. and no one believed me at the time. It was directly related to my cycle!!!
