Princess delivered her puppies this morning, 4 girls, (not even one little boy, dang!) and when the first one came out, (she was the largest) Princess jumped out of her box and onto my bed and looked at me like she was in trouble and terrified. I had to break bag open and take care of puppy, all the yucky stuff I really was counting on her to do
I had to keep making her get back in the box, she was practically doing flips to get out. Then she popped two out within 20 minutes, then the last one about 40 minutes later. I have been trying to get her to let them nurse for about two hours now, and she keeps running away from them. Is this normal for first time moms, cuz the babies are really crying, and she keeps hiding under the bed.
