I thought it might be the conditioner... My 4 are brushed out and combed every day and still they loose the "awwww... effect" the second day after their bath (once a week.) When I use Aveeno oatmeal shampoo they are not as shiny and fluffy to begin with but stay that way longer. Here in ABQ we have a lot of very fine dust that might get caught by the oily substances of the conditioner...
