We live in a townhouse with no back yard. We have a small concrete area with grass behind that. We can't but up a fence for General Lee, so we walk him. Also, he is potty pad trained so that at night we don't have to go out. I have lived in apartments pretty much all my time growing up and 95% of my married life. We have had dogs most of the time. Yorkies are the most adaptable fur baby there is. You will need patience with them to get them used to it and to learn to go when everyone is outside. If you can, I would suggest that you take the babies to the new apartment before you move in to get them used to the smell. When we moved, we were able to do that and we were also able to let the dog stay in the new apartment with my daughter while we moved in. Getting them to know it while you are not rushed and stressed my moving helps them. Good luck. |
