Default poo chew prevention?

The big brother(Choco) sometimes snacks on his or his little brother's(Scooby) poo. While the pineapple may deter Cho' chewing on his own turds, Scooby eats almost exclusively Royal Canin, plus maybe some Jerhigh doggie snacks and loves crackers. Choco will eat most anything depending on his appetite. Seems if he is fed well, some liver, chicken or beef with his dry food(mainly Royal Canin due to Scooby's picky preference), plus maybe some fruit, veggies etc... his appetite for poo subsides but may also stop eating dry food. In short, if he gets to spoiled with people food his appetite for poo along with dry food diminishes. Now we do withhold the goodies if he refuses to eat dry food until his appetite renews his interest in the dry food. Unfortunately, this is the risky time for poo too. We try to clean up poo before Choco can get to it, which often we are successful, and balance the goodies(including people food) so he still eats a good portion of dry food which seems to deter poo snacking mostly but since not always around still once in a while he will go for the poo. If he neatly ate it would be less of a concern but he does like to grab it and move it to a comfy eating place leaving pieces strewn about.

For Scooby's poo, since pineapple not feasible due to his finicky tastes (though will try pumpkin) would leaving his poo out but spiking with something like spicy help condition Choco to not even consider. Or will he just sniff each time to check if tasty or not and unfortunately the times it would be tasty is when we are not around to spike it or clean it up. Welcome suggestions.
