If she was pregnant she would be close enough to her due date. Having her x-rayed should not pose a problem However, if you feel uncomfortable, you might consider an ultrasound.

In my opinion she's most likely experiencing a false pregnacy......but, it's better to be safe than sorry. If she is, you'd better get your supplies ready and I do hope you have an experienced breeder close by to help you.

Another good book is How to buy and raise a healthy dog by Terri Shumski....great info on whelping, and caring for mom and the litter.
