 Help??
I have a male and female yorkie. Nala is going to be a year old March 30th and Simba is already 3. I am afraid Nala might be pregnant. She went into heat in late december and we kept the two separate for 5-6 weeks. We read up on the sign of her going into heat and separated them immediately as I knew she was too young to get pregnant. The vet told us 4 weeks after the bleeding stopped was long enough. But now Nala's nipples are getting big her tummy was hanging a few days ago now is getting firm and bigger. Could she be pregnant? Can anyone tell me if there are any other tell tale signs i should be looking for? What do you think is going on here? All advice is welcomed and appreciated! |
