NutraCal for puppies...before or after a problem... hi all, i'm getting my first yorkie baby in april/may but trying to learn as much as possible before he comes along.
i have read that low blood sugar is common among yorkie puppies and that NutraCal for puppies rubbed on the tongue/gums helps perk them back up. So I have already bought some to be prepared...
So my question is, should I only use it if an episode occurs? Or is it something that can be given as a *preventative* say in the morning and before bed or something like that.... or is it meant to be used only as a *reaction* to low sugar levels?
Thanks in advance! This board is great! |
