[Lexi's Mom]

Lexi has been vomiting all day. It started around 10am this morning. She's thrown up about 8 times (purely bile at this point). I've called the vet and he is "unconcerned at this time". I have had great confidence in this vet but I am concerned that he is "unconcerned" about dehydration, low blood sugar, etc. His advice is to take away her food for 12 hours to let her stomach rest.

I've tried giving her Nutrical, and even the water/salt/sugar mixture that I found suggested in a post when I searched the forum for "vomiting". She's not holding anything down.

Is there anything else I can do? I asked him about Pepto Bismol and he said that it wouldn't do anything at this point and we just had to wait it out. He wants to see how she does overnight. That seems like a lifetime away for me when my baby is sick!!!

Up until an hour ago, she wanted to play with her toys. Now she just wants to be alone. She's NEVER wanted to be anywhere but with ME before!

Any advice?
