Please don't put your baby through that 18 hour flight ! You may understand what's going on, but your baby doesn't...And you also have to drop her off at the cargo building 2 hours before the flight (and hope it leaves on time) and you have to pick her up at the agriculture building in the airport in Japan (and hope it's immediate) but it's not, because they have to check all paper work ...So now, the 18 hours are at least 21 hours (alone) and I'm not sure, but the cabin where she is might not have lights on either.
I would leave her with someone who can take her for walks and play with her and love her til her mommy gets home !
It's no fun for animals when they have to travel !!!!
I sent my daughter's 2 yorkies to Hawaii and had to go through the same process, I cried when I left them looking at me from different crates with strangers...I'd never, ever do it again !!!
Please think twice before you make up your mind...
