A lady (Bjh) who pops in here often told me yesterday that she uses bottomless boxes that she can set over the top of blankets so moms cannot "lose" babies in too much bedding. That sounded like a good idea to me. I believe if your momma got a very quiet spot for the first while she would have no reason to want to move her pups, I would find her a nice, warm, quiet spot and see how she is about that. I have also read that if you could keep the people visiting the pups to a minimum (like just you for now) they will be more at ease. Overall it sounds like she is wonderfully protective momma. Maybe she notices her puppies are disapearing (because of your losses) and she's trying to be extra careful now? (that last comment was pretty uneducated, just an idea?)
