For the past couple of weeks I have been using a human "silk serum" on Harley's coat and it has helped greatly. I have been using it on him every other night, the second night his coat is still so easy to comb out. Plus, massaging it into his coat and body really seems to calm him down to be brushed out. I just bought a generic brand at Kroger, it was about $5, to try just to see how it worked, and I am really pleased! Harley has a cotton coat and I was afraid that once it got warmer I was going to have to shave him down, but this has given me hope.
