Cry Limping

I'm getting really scared. Miles was playing with my boyfriend's dog (a Lhasa Apso) earlier today. They play all the time, and the other dog is pretty laid back, and they never play too rough or anything. But since my bf and his dog left a couple hours ago, Miles has just been laying down. I thought he was just tired. But when he got up about 20 minutes ago, I noticed that he was limping, and it's hard to tell which paw he's favoring. He's not whining or anything, but he just keeps laying down. My first instinct is to run to the emergency vet to see what's wrong. Should I go right away, or wait a day and see what happens? I really don't want him to be in pain, and I'm so scared about what could be wrong.
