Truman is going for his neuter on Tuesday so he needed his bath today so that he looks and smells pretty. Just got done giving him the full spa treatment and he is now sleeping.
Poor Truman is having a hard time seeing. He's really truckin it around the house and yard now. First off, I have to say Truman is fully housetrained. He barks, I take him out, he does potty and he's happy~even in the rain! What more could you ask for!!!
The more he is moving around the more evident it is that he has a very hard time seeing.

But if I'm in the yard or house near him and I call his name he will come right to me. He is doing great with the arthritis medicine he has been taking and I can tell each day he is getting less stiff. Last night he went outside potty and when he came back in he must have had an itch on his side. He was STANDING in my laundry room and decided to scratch his itch. This is from not being able to stand at all when I first brought him home from the shelter almost a month ago! He is getting very strong and gaining weight too and it shows in how he's now getting around the house and yard better.
The one thing that it becoming more and more apparent is that Truman really cannot see enough to be left out of your site for long. He will bump into things and even ran into the fence when he was on a full trot trying to reach my husband in the driveway. They only problem with that is there is a fence that divides the driveway from the yard. He crashed into the fence and knocked himself silly.

But I know he will learn as he begins to explore more and more.
