Yeah... I think so...
The basic one is just text editing and doesn't have the helpful buttons and the standard has the formatting control buttons. Unless you know the codes then the basic one would be a PITA to use.
The standard will show the BB code for all the editing you've done whereas the WYSIWYG editor is just as it is, What You See Is What You Get, so everything is displayed exactly how it will post.
That's weird that it doesn't go back to the enhanced one. I typed that it did and then had to go back and edit just to be sure that it did actually do it and it worked for me.
(I'm trying so hard not to sound like a forum nerd here btw!)
