Maggie had LP and it was the same thing she just landed wrong from a jump. She really did great after the surgery and the surgeon said because of her LP this would improve her walk which it did.
Her surgery was done by Mike Serdy in san diego. I would highly recommend him. He is one of the best surgeons in sourthern cal. Maggie also at age 16 had her hip dislocated and it too required surgery. Mike Serdy also did this surgery.

i have to go to orthopedic next but vet gave her metacam on empty stomach only one dose and she is on steroids - both no no's and she has been vomitting for two weeks once a day so wanted to get her tummy better before going to ortho -- i live in ventura county so about 2 1/2 hrs from you -- does your orthapedic recommend anyone in this area as i have been referred to dr anderson at asec and hollsworth at vmsg -- it has bee two weeks and still no full weight bearing - i will video her today as documenting progress which is not much --this poor girl is hypothyroid, mvd, atopic dermatitis and now this she has had it all and she loves frisbee and cannot play so it breaks my heart -- what procedure did they do as there are so many different procedures i am finding
