Now on the other hand, my daughter, has a little girl that just finally hit 2.5 lbs and is a year old....Vet tried to talk her into spaying and she is adamant no way(due to her size)...
So I can really see both sides....I think it makes for a Great "friendly" debate...

Joyce, I will let you know how my little girl does when I get her spayed. I don't think she'll ever hit the 2 1/2 lb mark, but, I'm going ahead with the spaying, teeth pulling(she has to have that done one way or another though and they have to be put under for that). It is scarey, but, I think the pros to having it done weigh out the con(the weight issue). I always try and look at things as when ever anything happens there is a reason for it, and I know my little one will be watched over when she has her surgery
