What about those private operations that are supposed to help kids that are falling behind that need help (and promise one letter grade or higher on the next report card) or to help kids that need more of a challenge get ahead. Like here in VA we have one called Sylvan Learning Center. It's kind of like private tutoring... but not, if that makes sense. Does your area have anything like that?
