I think you will discover, that you get a lot of use out of a stroller. My girls walk a lot, but there are places my husband and I can take them, in the pet stroller, that we could not take them, otherwise.
Also, because they are tiny, they can't walk as long as we walk, so it gives them a break.
It keeps them safe, from getting stepped on, in cases such as when we take them to an outdoor mall, and it is busy.
Your DH may be having a cow about buying one right now, but I think once you get one, and he sees the convenience of it, he'll like it.
