I have a postal scale and print all my labels through Paypal. It's much easier to do it that way, plus both you and your customer can track the package through Paypal.
I rarely have to go to the post office. I can fit several bow orders in my mailbox. I request a carrier pickup if I have an oversized package.
You don't need special packing/shipping supplies. If you mail a lot like I do, it is cheaper to buy in bulk from a place like Uline rather than buy supplies at Walmart.
If you plan on shipping internationally, you'll need customs forms. You can order them online (free) or pick some up at the post office.
Priority boxes are free and can ordered online, too.
Always make sure you get delivery confirmation. |
