Winston is very good about staying out of the kitchen while cooking. As a very young pup, whenever I'd open the oven I told him to "stay back"...he's a quick learner...he stays back. Also, teach your little ones to "leave it"...just in case he finds something that could do him harm. I taught this to Winston, because he always liked chasing crickets...not any more...he leaves it.
