The routine here at our house is during the middle of the night Schatzie leaves her bed and wants to join my husband and I in our bed.
So, she whines and whimpers which wakes me up, I bend over the side of my bed in hopes to not fall out and w/ half opened eyes pick her up one handed. She snuggles up each and everynight in her favorite postition, on my hubbies pillow.
Well, my husband went out of town and i had a slumber party with some girl friends, Not having enough bedrooms, one of my friends shared my bed last night. I guess Schatzie didn't realize that when she was again lifted up half hazardly in the middle of the night and placed on my bed that Daddy was not there. Well, she snuggled up on my hubbies pillow then looked over only to find it wasn't her Daddy. I swear, I have NEVER seen Schatzie jump up so fast and fly off the bed with a look of fright and confusion on her face wondering who was in that bed with me, LOL !!
She ran outta of my room, layed in the hallway until I got up and then barked at my friend when she got up. I can only imagine what this bark of hers was meaning to my friend, LOL.
