 Emergency!!! Prayer needed!
Thank you so much. I know prayer helps, and it is of great comfort to know you care. The vet we took him to this morning isn't my regular vet, but he was when I lived in Knoxville. We now have a home in Al, but kept our condo in Knoxville. My grandchildren are here. At least we have the UT Vet School of Veterinary Medicine here. If more needs to be done, we will take him there. He was also walking in circles when he did attempt to walk last night. I know that is a symptom of Liver Shunt, but the vet said his liver wasn't swollen. He thought it might be a central system problem. Of course, we can't rule out LS. The vet medicated him, and told me to take him to UT's Critical Care Specialist if he doesn't improve. I am thanking God that we are in a place with so many resources. |
