I JUST (like, literally this morning) starting switching Lily (who will be a year old March 23) to the Wellness Adult. We bought the Super5 mix. Anyway, I was a little hesitant about it because the pieces seemed so much bigger than she was used to, and I was going to buy the small breed kind, but then realized how small those pieces were and thought that I'd rather have something she could crunch on than swallow whole. Let me just tell you... she LOVES LOVES LOVES it. She's already picked out every piece of the adult food in her bowl this morning and has been totally fine with the piece sizes.

She's a bigger girl at 11 pounds, but I think a lot of other people still do the full size kibble too with some smaller dogs as well. If you didn't buy too big of a bag, maybe you could finish it and then try a small bag of the regular adult and just see what you like better. I do know that they need to have have some crunch to their food for the health of their teeth. Something to think about!
