Prior to getting a laminator at our school, we covered our teacher-made activities with clear contact paper so they would last longer. You can also write on them with erasable markers then clear it with windex or rubbing alcohol.
Contact paper works very well with a sheet of paper and if you cut it larger than the paper, you'll have your "sticky" to place it on the surface with. The easiest way (discovered through trial and error) is to lay the contact paper sticky side up and put the paper face down onto the sticky.
(Just as another helpful hint which doesn't really relate to this...you can also use clear contact paper on paperback books you want to preserve.) |
