I take my 6.5 month old for walks almost everyday. But last week was really cold in NY, so I didn't do it. Then today I took him out again and he started marking every 2-3 feet or so!!! I know dogs do that but is that normal? Is it bad? Do I tell him no?

And for those that live in cities and are used to seeing dogs in stores, as you know all dept stores in the Manhattan will let you bring your dogs in. Now my question is for those of you who's done it - will my dog start marking the store?!?!?!! If I just bring him in on a leash??? I have always done that before and there has been no problem because that was before he started marking ...

Please advise!!! Thanks!
