I had to read this. I assume you are meaning BOWELS, not bowls. Yes, they can have trouble moving thier bowels, just like people. You can feed them a small amount of canned pumpkin. NOT the pumpkin pie filling with spices. You want plain canned pumpkin. Try giving a couple of teaspoons full. If that doesn't help, then take him to the vet.
BTW... Mine can move thier bowls quite easily, especially if they are empty and they are hungry.. lol
