Mary, I don't know you, you dont know me but here it goes.
If that lady wants to help you take her up on it. Two of you could do twice the work, and working in a team is so much better than alone. She will be so happy when you find Yoshi she wont mind the work she put in she will be glad you let her help.
If I was closer I would help, we that have had an animal run away remember the sting, and pain.
