Aw.... poor thing. I don't have any answers for you, but I just wanted to second your "grrr to burrs." It can get pretty windy where we live in the desert (think tv tumbleweed towns) and we get these weird little twig burrs in our yard constantly. This is one of the many reasons we choose to keep Nikko's hair cut short. So at least they don't get stuck in his fur anymore, but he does still try to eat them (?!?!!). Grrr to burrs!
