The only thing I can say I regret on Maximus first cut is, I asked for a puppy cut and they cut his hair on the top of his head short and now when it grows back it grows toward his eyes. Before his first cut, it grew nice away from his eyes. If your baby's hair grows away from their eyes, I would ask them not to mess with the top so it will keep growing that way. I have to constantly keep cutting that hair now. If you see his pic, you can see it grows towards his eyes. I can do a top knot but if I don't it's in his eyes. Other than that, the puppy cut is what we always get. In the summer, we had him shaved too. He looked like a completely different dog but I think he liked it.
