I'd put another notice in the paper saying you know he was last seen in that turnpike area (near her home), maybe someone noticed this girl has a new Yorkie and will get suspicious. Maybe her parents will see the notice and contact you. I'd put that info into the hands of everyone in that area it might jog a memory or make someone think about a neighbor who just got a new Yorkie.
