Iv only heard that if they are WEANED too early but he was full/y weaned when i got him at 10 weeks. same with cats, if they are taken from their mom before they are weaned from nursing then they can continue this habit but i dont think that is Bentley's issue. he didnt start doing it till recently. also my friends yorkie did it too and she left her mom at 16 weeks, so i dont think it has much correlation to when they left their mom, but i could be wrong....
