A lot of people don't do research on the breed at all. I do have a preference and I like the small ones 2 3/4 - 3 lbs . However I take care of them like if they were real babies. There is much more work involved when you have a really tiny dog. Also everything you get for them or vet bills are much higher for the tinies. It bothers me sometimes when people tell me "He's a teacup right?" I let them know that "teacup" is just a newborn pup that you stick in a teacup and take a picture. If I were to put Cookie or Mimi in something it would be a soup bowl lol. I tell them these are toy sized and a few are much tinier than the toy sized. So they are "tiny" No matter what, 99% of breeders will sell their little runt for double the price of the others in that litter. I have NEVER seen the runt of the litter sell for $800 as if runt was much more special than the others. Mine weigh 3 lbs and 3.2 lbs
full grown.
