  It takes a strong person to go through what you are now going through, and don’t forget that. You may be doubting yourself right now, and thinking that maybe you should let your sister take care of Sal. But there are a few questions I would ask myself. Like, how will this make Sal and I feel, how will this effect Sal and I? I think pets are sort of a gift from god. They are always there for you when you’re feeling down, when you’re sick or when you just need some hugs and kisses! If your sister is willing to take Sal, why don’t you see if she will just stop by and make sure everything’s okay. It may be a bit tough since you just had surgery, and you may need a bit more help then normal. But in the long run I think you just might feel better keeping Sal with you. This is just my opinion.
