Our Max has a cough now and then and it always helps him when I give him some honey, either in warm milk what he loves but gives him the runs or from a spoon.
If the air is very dry in your home a humidifier helps or wet towels on the radiators or some water in pots and in the bathtub... Take your baby into the bathroom with you when you take a shower. Put a shirt on her and put a tiny amount of wick vaporub on the shirt (not the fur, that burns!) where she can't lick it.
