They will only allow an adoption after all paperwork is submitted, there is a home visit done and references are checked. To me that sounds legit. Please I am only trying to help and it seems that there is so much negativity out there. Do any of you actually rescue pets???? Because we do and we know how it works and this organization DOES NOT SEND ME RED FLAGS. I also NEVER said that I back this organization I just simply asked for someone to help this baby. I am not forcing anyone to. Mabye there is someone on this forum who maybe lives near the shelter and can get hiim. My goodness!! I think I will have to change to a different Yorkie forum. Thank you to those who have a positive response and to the ones who actually bothered to check out the site. And I checked the links and they work fine. Maybe if there is one that doesn't work maybe the web address moved or is gone and HUA just wasn't alerted. They are very busy. I am sure because we only rescue up to 7 at once and we barely have time to breathe. I cannot imagine how busy they are HELPING OUR FALLEN BABIES.
I really think you are taking this way to personally~please let me explain. You joined yesterday and had only 2 posts, one of which was for a dog in need for a shelter that none of us had heard of before. It would not be the first time that someone came to YT and posted to either give a dog away or want a dog for FREE and it turned out to be a scam. I think there is only one person that actually called your post a scam. The rest of us just questioned some place we had not heard of before. Why is that such a bad thing? I looked over the few posts that you have made and you didn't introduce yourself anywhere on the board. Whether you are posting to a new forum or walking into a room full of new people it is customary to introduce yourself. Taking it one step further, on a forum most people start a new thread say hello and tell a little about themselves so that we can get to know them. That is what I did and I am sure that most others here did the same. If we are affiliated or know about this shelter/rescue you could have included that in your post and possibly a little about yourself. I am sorry if you feel that we are not welcoming but we are looking at words on a computer screen.
*BTW most of us on the rescue section of YT are very nice, are involved in rescue and care very much for animals.
