Animal Smiley 049 Biewers: Ears and Butts

What are Biewers? They are really pretty and unusual.
I am posting because you mentioned the issue of ears and taping. Wanted to share this with you.
I had a male Yorkie, Kiko, who was four years old and always had one ear up and one flopped down. After opening an assisted living home where I lived to care for elderly, Kiko, became the day time companion for one 92 year old Dorothy who was confined mostly to a wheel chair. He loved sitting on her lap and she loved petting him. He was never hard to find they were so attached to each other.
Dorothy loved to keep touching Kiko and would rub his ears which he did not mind. Lo and behold, that after a few months Kiko's left ear now stood up straight the same as his right ear. It seems she stimulated circulation in the ear which made it more rigid.
My 10 month old puppy, that I rescued from a pet shop at five months old who did not even know how to run yet, has both ears flopped down. I am hoping that eventually they will stand up if I often rub the ears softly between two fingers. She either doesn't like the way I do it or does nsot like it much at all.
Her ears were pretty thin and soft, but seem to be getting a little thicker, and perhaps will eventually with increased stimulation of blood curculation by rubbing will help the ear stiffen and stand. I will update this when it happens.
It was amazing to see Kiko's ear stand up after four years because Dorothy rubbed his ears daily and often. I never heard or read anyone mention this to help a Yorkie's ears stand.
