Most airlines say 1 dog per bag - NWA lets 2 go if they are related -- well of course mine are related

So it is $100 each way for the bag in the cabin. I think all airlines charge this much now. My 2 together weigh just 8 lbs - so they do ok in the bag together. I know flying for some people means not being able to bring all their dogs. Some people I think will make that chice for the meetup, but others will drive because of it. I'd drive maybe - but I don't know of anyone driving from the midwest
