Just some info for you.
When I train my dogs, I keep them in a restricted area. Only on hard flooring. The pads are placed where they piddeled and by the doors. Just a few pads scattered around. The idea is to protect your flooring and at the sametime training them towards the door. The pads laid out should in due time be less and less on the floor. Also everyday lay the pads closer to the door.
At the same time, every few hours the dog should be put out to do his business. The pads are there just incase.
If you place them all over, the dog will get the idea they can poddy anywhere at any time.
