I try to leave mine alone for about an hour 3 or 4 times a week just so they are used to the experience and don't worry so much. Usually I use the time to go grocery shopping, do the dishes, etc. I'm not always gone from the house and they are pretty much fine with it now. Well, actually Krishna tolerates it and Kita will do anything if there is a cookie involved
