well i hope it was not my reply that you think was conveying being "unexcited" about someone getting another yorkie who can afford one?
i think it can be sooo easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of getting a new addition, some people, or at least *i* forget the common sense stuff
like the additional costs...but personally i did not see anyone who was not supportive of you getting another baby ... i am sorry if it was me who came across that way
but to answer your question/poll, i would only ask for opinions if i was totally open to all possible suggestions...if my mind was already made up, i probably would not bother
