Sophie has done that a couple of time when someone comes over. I make sure to tell ours visiter not to pet her on the couch. She is better about it now that she is older. when she was a puppy she pee everytime someone came over. Lucky for me most of the time she is at the door to meet eveyone. and sophie is a marker and she is a girl. When i walk her she has to pee on every mailbox in town! she even lifts her leg a little when she pees always has.
