Lightbulb A late addition

Just FYI (though this is a really late addition to this thread) -

You can possibly register an ACA dog with the AKC. When I started working with my dad, all of our dogs were ACA registered and only 4 were dual registered with the AKC. I contacted the AKC (you can email altreg@akc.org), and they did research on all of our dogs' pedigrees, and all but one of our dogs were able to be registered with the AKC.

So, check it out first. : ) Far enough back in every dog, if they are pure bred, they are AKC registerable - EVERYTHING used to be AKC only.

The only reason one of our males wasn't able to be registered is because the breeder we got him from messed up paperwork or something and a DNA test proved the litter application was wrong or something, so his registration was cancelled before we even had a chance to register him.

PM me if you need more info or the phone number of my lady at the AKC (she is AWESOME by the way).
