i realized after i typed that, it could have sounded harsh but i have been on YT for over a year and i have seen so many threads where people ask about shedding and so many people say, if it is a purebred yorkie, it will not shed ... yes yorkies shed lots less than most dogs but they still shed! otherwise they would have hair like sheepdogs  |
What I have always heard, is their hair is like human hair. We lose hair, and they lose hair. They are said to be non-shedding, hypo-allergenic because they do not have an undercoat that sheds off. But yes it is 100% normal for your baby to be noticeably shedding while in coat transition. And as an adult, just not as obvious then.
