AIM socialization is very important in young pups. If they have been around other dogs this will help the transition of coming into a home with dogs. But now you have to keep the one you have socialized as well, This is a two way street for currently owned and potentially owning. My suggestion and what I have done in the past is to let potential new owners to bring their current pet as long as they had proof of vaccinations and they had to understand that their pet was only going to be exposed to the puppy they were looking to purchase.
