There just need to standards, very strict standards about how the animals are treated. Because without animal trials there would be alot of treatments we would not have.
When I was in college on the weekend I feed the animals and cleaned up at a research lab, needless to say the job did not last that long. I just could not deal with rabbits the size of cats, and the deal breaker was me having to fill in one weekend on the side that housed the dogs. Just seeing this one beagle that was so terrified broke my heart. I never did know what kind of experiments they did, because I didn't want to know. |
