Not sure what to recommend about the poop, but I did want to mention that it's very dangerous to leave dogs in the car during the summertime. Dogs can overheat very quickly, much more quickly than humans do. Also, if you have a pure bred dog, someone might steal her.

Sorry I don't have anything helpful for the main problem.
