Kathy - I can answer your question about Susan recommending commercial dog food and the answer is yes, when it is appropriate. Cyndi (IzzyPrincess) consulted with her following Izzy's severe bout with pancreatitis and not only did she insist on Dr. Gordon being part of their conversation because of Izzy's very high Lipase and Amalase levels, but they both recommended Izzy stay on the Hills W/D and I/D in combination for at least 6 months.
